Great article, Joey! Your points about not messing with the Constitution and being attractive to tourists due to comparative calm (next to Thailand) are both right on target. The more stable the Philippines appears to investors, business partners, and tourists the better. This is a great time for the PI to pick up global market share!

While this global recession should encourage all us negosyos to be prudent, I also think making shrewd moves in the next year is a great opportunity to grow our businesses exactly kasi most other business owners are cutting back on spending and advertising. Do good market research, and then market to grow the number of profitable clients you have. This is the perfect time to give customers more of what they want, and then ask them to refer other clients to our businesses.

I'm looking to seize opportunity over the next year as most big fortunes are made during and right after recessions; may all savvy negosyos do the same! Ingat and keep giving great input to our pinoy negosyos sa PI and abroad! Sige na.

To Your Abundance Now,

Thank you for your positive feedback, Rey. It's heartening to know that our countrymen in CDO are optimistic.

I'm really enlightened by this article. We all need to be optimistic and well informed. Correctly informed. I'm a licensed real estate broker here in Cagayan de Oro and I do believe we can still sell despite of the economy.

as i read the stories my mind was working on my son. yes its really true that we cannot decide for them where they want to be in their career. but if ever theres a chance for them to be in the enterprising mindset it would perhaps be through these inspiring stories.
